We got this decoder book at target for $1- ira loved it sooooo much. she was super bummed when she finished it. Once i showed her the basic comcept- she did it all on her own.... well, every once and a while she asked for a refresher on how to write a letter.
so when i found this message decoder in a lis of activity links, i printed it off to do with her. she surprised me again by wanting to do it all her own. so, i gave her some beans and showed her how to use them to help you add....
she didnt know, care, or realize that she was doing math!!
jared came in and said, "is she doing addition?" i replied, "no! shes decoding a secret message!" lolliv joined in, of course....
then came the pie!
crust-
~2c.almonds,
~drizzle raw agave, honey or medjool dates.....
~1/4 c. coconut oil
in the food processor until smooth & creamy enough to spread.
spread into springform pan. put in freezer.
banana layer- inspired by this.
slice and freeze 5 bananas only until its really hard to put a fork into, but still possible ;)
put them into food processor and process until creamy. i added about 3 T of hemp milk to speed it up- but that it not necessary.
spread on top of crust and place back in freezer to firm up.
chocolate layer- inspired by this.
1 can of full fat organic coconut milk- refridgerated to thicken.
1/4 c. cocoa powder
splash vanilla
raw agave to desired sweetness
place in mixing bowl and whip until fluffy and delicious.
spread on top of banana layer and freeze for 1/2 hour-1hr then move to fridge.
EAT!
