Playmates....

We were extra excited about Thursday's play date! Ira made herself a sheriffs costume and patrolled the parking lot while waiting...

Crazy mushroom!

The boy trying very hard to be like his sisters!

On friday we started out on a nature walk- The flowers are loving the rain!

We are too! Except for our park day got cancelled because of it! We ran to Starbucks.... Literally. Hot cocoas for everyone!

It stopped raining so we went outside.

On the way home we collected some things for our nature table...

Put together the puzzle that was graciously gifted to Ira!
For the millionth time ;)

Emers likes to put puzzles away... Then gets in the box. He does that with clothes in the hamper too!

Liv putting together her puzzles...

Then we read some library books and fell asleep! Long couple days!

Salon day!

Ira decided that the unicorn club was going to start issuing badges.... After reading this-

She decided that the first honorary Unicorn Club Badge would be......

Salon/Spa Badge!
She took this very seriously. The main rule?(her rule) She had to do it all herself! No help from mama!

First, she compiled all the necessary tools.

Then she hung a lock on the door so that only invited customers could cone to her spa.

Receptionist desk.

Product wall.

Chairs....that little bowl? Face mask.

Flower petals- drawn, colored and cut by Ira herself. Then strewn on the floor.

Face mask- banana and raw honey.

Mirrors.

My mask application.... It was sticky and delicious.

Nail painting.... Two minutes after starting this I realized I am out of remover.

Post mask removal, lotion treatment.

At the end Ira said "take my picture and put this on the Internet so others can come annulled paint their nails for money"

Salon day.

Sisters

I know I post a lot about sisterhood, probably because I never really got to experience it myself.

I am always so touched by how close these girls are. We had to wait for our food the other night and Ira entertained liv the whole time!

Straw snakes...

Carnival games.... And yes... You could see through them.... But it didn't stop them from playing!

Cuddles and a movie....

My birthday!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! It was wonderful to get so many calls and emails and texts and facebook messages! I feel very loved :)

Jared surprised me by staying HOME from work!

And with tickets to---

In case you were unaware, the Musée d'Orsay loaned out two collections during its renovations...

More info here!

I also got this new cd....

We had a great lunch in the outdoor cafe tent...

With a pretty view and nice breeze...

Then we let the kids run their food off before our time to go in to the exhibition....

Of course there are no pics of us inside, but liv and Emers FELL asleep in the carriers! Liv on jared and Emers on me! How lucky!
Ira really enjoyed it, as well... She asked a lot of great questions and has a really great eye.

After the museum we walked around....

Checked out the pond...

Ira made a lilly pad...

This is a classic picture. I'm making a weird face and liv won't look.

Sunday

We spent the morning watching boat races from our living room...

We had to run to the store for a few groceries and the girls decided they HAD to be fancy... I asked them if I could take a picture and this happened...

No posing for them.

Then Ira drew this timeline of events...backwards because she wanted to draw the tree first :) the last pic is a fancy skull, she said there were too many things to draw for martinmas so she was just going to write it.

We found this at the store- a Buddha hand lemon. No idea what to do with it yet.
