Babys r us! Woo hoo

After we got through Phoenix- emers was Not too thrilled about the car- imagine our delight that we happened upon a babys r us and toys r us combo.

We ran off some energy, I nursed emers on a couch. Then we bought some entertainment since -ahem- Ira put a dime and a penny in the charger outlet and blew a fuse! We have NO radio and NO ability to charge anything!

We only found out the cause when we bought an iPhone charger at toys r us and it still didn't work!

So yes- we drove over 400 miles with nooooo electronics! I love my kids. They were AWESOME until about an hour before dinner- that pretty good!

So color wonder to the rescue!

New Children's Museum!

Water painting on sandstone in the "secret room behind the Foam Noodle Room....


Microscope hooked to a large screen also in teh secret room... it was so cool. Ira put her shirt on it and it was a knitted fabric, jareds shirt was woven. They had lots of fabric samples to look at. One girl put her foot up there, and well.... it was interesting....




THe FOAM NOODLE ROOM! By far the coolest thing ever. When summer ends and the noodles go on sale- jared and I have commited to making one of these on the back patio.... it was awesome.

also known as forth of july in phoenix!

dinosaur bones

Ira is quite interested in dinosaurs right now.... she wants to know EVERYTHING.... 

we found a great kids museum in phoenix that had a nice selection so we made a mini-vacation of it and stayed the whole weekend. 

The resort we stayed at was beautiful, the pools were lovely in this unforgiving heat!!!!

All in all it was a good trip- but as always- was way too short!
