Saturday..in the park...

We started the day with a short(ish) trip to ikea.


Then we took a walk to the park...
This is luv and Jared running off to the swings- which is liv's favourite park activity.

Ira was dancing to prove how "NOT cold she was"


When we finished at the park we went to whole foods, came home and cooked dinner while the girls played and watched the gymnasts on tv.





And broke in our new white board.

Funday

Today was so nice!!! Relaxing, calm, everyone doing their own thing.... But still being together. I love love love living in small quarters!

Ira woke up and went straight into the kitchen to make breakfast.
Hemp milk with molasses and cliff bars. I have the kitchen set up so she can reach everything. She is such a caregiver- always making sure everyone is taken care of.











Then Ira decided her firefighter hat needed some sprucing up.
She cleaned and waxed it in the bathroom.





Then she was lost in being a super spy.... I love when she is so serious with the magnifying glass. Because she looks so silly.
She said to me, "mama, your eye is humongous! IRS as big as your booty!" when I started laughing, she said, very seriously... "what?!? It is!"






Then her and liv got really into this present faerie game. Ira was the present faerie and liv was the person getting all these presents. Ira built a pulley system to drop the presents slowly from her secret lair into liv's den. Her secret lair was on a cloud... Where gnomes were busy readying toys for delivery.

Then Ira decided to make a toilet paper roll puppet of herself ... Complete with a special glitter potion...





When daddy got home, wekas dinner,walked to starbucks for warm drinks & went to the park in the cold(and after dark) to satisfy these girls! They were insistent! (it was COLD!)










Then the girls built a cave to watch a movie in....

Exhaling....

Today was busy....

I cut alllllllll my hair off....


We had afternoon tea with blueberry "ice cream"... Which is just frozen organic blueberries, hemp milk, & chia seeds.


I love her little face covered with blueberries!!!

Third day is a charm?

Today felt more manageable! After travelling as much as we did, I think we are in "space shock". We are living in a little under 1000sq feet.... After being in a van or hotel room or friends guest rooms....

We have two big bathrooms...





An office/ playroom....





And instead of spreading out- we moved around furniture in the living room so we could be no more than 3 feet from each other while we ate, played, changed diapers, etc.

Liv chillin....





I found a big box of my little ponies that we packed up when the house went on the market... Ira was pretty pleased...





Ira read the word book. And then memorized how to spell it. Then rewrote it all over....





Tea time...





With fresh whipped cream and saffron rock candy stirs...











They had so many babydolls out, you'd gave thought it was a nursery...





I managed to even get dinner almost on the table when Jared got home! Thanks to the girls picking through tomatoes and green beans, washing them, etc.

We then took a walk to a nearby park.
Ira loves this path...










Ira said "I love living here! But I love you even more!"

Day two- a learning Curve?

Today was busy!

Some quick snap shots-

Juicing... Spinach and apple juice for the girls... Kale,celery, carrot, apple, Ginger and cilantro juice for me.





Ira's loft- she stowed some books, favourite playsilks and her princess lamp up there....

Iras experiment with dish soap and celery- seein if she could get the celery water to turn green if she soaked it longer, and seeing how the water got less and less blue as the dawn dissolved.

Monday Monday

Jareds first day at his new job....


Unpacking... We found a gift that a friend brought Ira from Africa... She is very excited about having it out!


Snack time!


Kitchen is unpacked! We bought that walker to be the spare set of hands I am missing now that Jared is gone- emers hates it- go figure.


Liv is getting interested in the dollhouse/faerie house play!!!! Makes me so happy to see the toys played with by both girls... They each are sooo different- it really comes out when they set up this kind of stuff.





Ira moved the pet shops into the dollhouse... Live preferred her dolls live outside.


Emers is very into music making toys...


And anything liv has...


The new reading area! I took our old queen sized tempurpedic mattress topper and wrapped it with the girls' old quilt. They love it. I think they had me read 6 books in the first hour after it was set up.


I was very excited when we unearthed this rug... NOW it feels like a playroom....
