Ren Faire

Highlights from the day... The actual faire was a bummer. It was pretty expensive (of course) but the people there were pretty aggressive and obnoxious- especially if you weren't buyin what they were sellin.

But we had fun-

We watched a fencing match... Ira was the official score Keeper. That was very fun for her!

This show- a knife throwing/comedy act- was hilarious.

At home it was more legos and some Halloween crafts...

It was a crafting/painting kind of day!











We worked on the nature table and autumn decorations-






The bbl of the couch makes the best felt board!





Ira turned her bunk into an autumn garden...





Emers helped liv with her bunk.

Ira is so good at following Lego instructions... Better than me. I'm horrible at following instructions.

Michaelmas

Liv woke up and put this on immediately- she said,"I'm a beautiful ballet dancer- just like daddy" :)



I took some inspiration from this pumpkin to knit a new hat for liv- she's been asking for a new hat for a couple days...








We drew dragons...


Liv said," I draw a p!" the second ones grow too fast...


And the third ones? He has two kids he is trying to keep up with-

Tuesday

Our new candle joins the fleet...





Fort building...











Coloring/drawing...

Superhero liv fixes the fence...





Liv asks me everyday if it's her birthday... When I asked why? She said"so I can blow the candle make a wish!"

I figured that could be done any day... So when I made the jar candle I made some small birthday candle sized dipped candles..

I even sang to them... They enjoyed it....











Emers is obsessed with baths... He crawls to the bathtub throughout the day and shouts to get in.





Ira spent half the day making her dolls crowns...she even gave one to the(real) mail carrier....











Intensely trying to build a window...











Then ira made a story book about Asteo the Cat-





Asteo was walking along the water and a shark came....





The storm came and the sky went black and scared the shark





Asteo was safe because the shark was scared...





Ira also drew a story about pumpkins needing rain...





To replenish the water table so they can drink...





Then came sting ray drawing...out of nowhere...well, not nowhere... Her imagination-











She also made a menu to order lunch from....
