An easy day....

There have been hard days full of searching for a home, traveling, and late nights for the grown ups balancing budgets and figuring out how to maneuver going from two months of travel to a 9to5.... Which thank goodness may actually be the kind of hours we are looking at!

We took the day off and explored a new place-

We found real marshmallows with NO corn syrup!

We found these beauties- rock candy on a stick-with two ingriedients: sugar and saffron
Love.

Liv fell asleep in the car, so we parked for a bit and made silly faces. Ira took lots of pictures.

Then we went home, lit our seasalt candle and put out our love rock and had a good old tea party!

In hotel cups of course!

And no party is complete without a treat! Gluten free biscotti! They were amazing!

Numbers

I think Ira picked this book out at a borders in the bargain section... It's math for kindergarten... She writes the alphabet well, never showing much interest in numbers.

This is her first attempt- she was so engaged she asked to not leave the hotel for an hour longer than we had planned. She really likes feeling challenged with a new thing to figure out.

This oneadee smile, she said "what does this say?" I read off, "it says to draw each bear a fish to eat".

Her
Response-
"how about I just draw them a pond so they can choose how many fish they want? I don't think one fish would be enough!"

Loved it!
