we only went to the parade- jared was needing to be home for a conference call so we had to go and leave quickly- but we had a lot of fun shakin our booties to all the GREAT music and seeing our lovely friends! im !posting quickly... will add groups names and links later

i love waking up to this....

banners, MORE dragons, random scenes and valentines

another craazzzy fun day!

last night, i cut up a BUNCH of random sized hearts and heart hole punched some confetti. I left it out so that we wouldnt have to prep before craft time (which is impossible really, now that all crafts are done with emers in the ellaroo wrap.

well.... i woke up to valentines in bed~ ira and daddy got up early and she saw all the stuff and got right to business.

love it.


once I was up... we put on our stand by fav album and got to work ;)


i got the inspiration here at scrumdillydilly..... ira LOVED this! she has plans to lace her name for a banner. and every person we know may just get a banner of THEIR names.... she was REALLY REALLY into it!

and look how far we have come with our wheel of the year project!


these are two funny signs from outside her playroom.... the one on left is a "no cranky people allowed" sign.... the right is a poster for her next puppet show.

then we soaked some mung beand for dinner...

our WIP: dragon for chinese new year! only a little more to go!
we took a 1/4 cup or so of the mung beans and left them to soak because ira was super interested in the whole process....

Emerson is 7 weeks!

And oh oh oh how we L O V E him so!

He is chunking up~ and smiling~ and cooing~and reaching for and looking at toys~ ya know - your average "I'm gonna melt your heart with my cuteness" stuff. :)

the eighth day

one of our friends showed ira how to make people with pipe cleaners.... now i'm finding little sparkle people all over the house.....


we went to the park by our house and walked the lake trail....



stopping for strength training along the way....
