Wednesday

Heart shaped vegan dye free Jel-desert! It was actually REALLY good!

Out back, our mesquite tree is filling out an creating an abundance of shade-

Ira worked/played with a packet I printed up on the Arizona state museum's website. It's a companion for The paths of life exhibit we just saw.
Here Ira is making her own mask.

This is the wall of masks that Ira loved

We had planned a BBQ with our friends... So we spent a good portion of the day in the kitchen-
Made grass fed carne asada, roasted asparagus, a hide arugula & spinach salad with blue cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts from scratch..

And a honey mustard dressing I made with mayo, coarse ground Dijon, yellow mustard, & raw honey. It was so good.

We forgot limes at the store, so we used lemons. I also made lemon ice. We picked a paper gorcery bag full of lemons and had to hand squeeze them all because I couldn't find the citrus juicer!

It was worth it.

The dioramas were so realistic Ira asked if they were stuffed dead humans. She was relieved to find out they were NOT!

Really awesome pottery room. This was an interactive program that allows you to view each piece on the collection.

Frolicking in the green lawn!

Tucson is a great place for families. Everywhere we go, people are so welcoming to our clan. Love it.
