~snow~

we drove into the mountains today to see some freshly fallen snow...we hadn't planned on it... we were really on our way to get some odds and ends at target. But when we saw the clouds... we just could NOT resist.

it was sooo cold!

so we got some hot cocoa...






and chilli.....

by the fire, it was really really fun....

We decided to escape the heat and head up the mountain. At 8000 ft it was 74 degrees and SUNNY. Lovely lovely day.








Then we came home and I was craving some sauerkraut.... look who LOVES sauerkraut!!!!


...and look who tried her darnedest to blow up three water balloons at once.

we spent a couple hours up in the mountains- had a picnic at a great little area....

got exactly 4 pics... of the drive up.

Hopefully the other people got some good ones of us actually in the mountains?
