Ira wanted a necklace to match, but she gets itchy from wool... And I only had blue cotton- so she got a blue necklace- she loves it.

Monday and Tuesday

Monday and Tuesday were a whirlwind!

There was fresh fruit...

Duck watching...We've watched these ducks grow from tiny babies....

Brownie sharing at tea time...

Fashion designer Ira bijade!
(that's her famous designer name) she was showing off her "tattoo"

Look #2

The girls wanted this book during story time... It was printed the year I was born... It's the longer, well written poetic version... I wonder when authors/publishing houses decided to write books for kids that sound like they are written by 5 year olds.
I find well written books with metered sentences hold the kids' attention so much better than "and then Molly said_____ and then Jimmy said_____"

End rant.

The book-

Bean bag toss- these have held up well- almost two tears now!

A blurry picture- but it captures his silliness well, I think.

He is always smiling... Well almost always....

I love love love that we have toys thy have been through two or three kids and are no more worse for the wear. I can't help but remember liv, not even crawling yet, playing on the floor with that rattle, or how similarly all of them play with this stacking tower....

It also makes me so happy to have toys that LAST! Those wool rings are over two years old! One from etsy (babus) and one from a dear friend in Alaska- hippiediva (who is also on etsy and her own site)

They are in the same condition they were when I bought them! Which is amazing because they are used daily.

Thinking of a cheer...

Liv makes a silly face every time the phone comes out for a picture:)

We made pumpkins for our fall nature table... Ira did the stuffing...

Pumpkin #1

Liv and I worked on some wall hangings for over the nature table- mod podge & things collected on our walks...

Ira is looking older to me these days...

I get this face from her a lot - it usually means "why don't you understand what in saying/trying to convey"

Liv is really into creating- with lots of different supplies- stickers, watercolor, pastels, oil pastels and crayons were all at play here...
