happy day

ira woke up and declared it the best day ever.... she wanted to
watch a movie
play games
paint

she likes to watch movies in the most hilarious positions!!!!

we played enchanted forest....

and we PAINTED.... lots...

this is emers' masterpiece...

ira's paintings- she hasn't done a whole lot of watercolor paintings... she was really liking working with them and mixing colors....she was a little irritated about not remembering that the colors bleed together...

liv really really really enjoyed mixing the colors....

after the painting, i got out the watercolor pencils for ira- she seemed to like them better because she could control the mixing more....

Love:: A very UNtimely Valentine Post

we, in the inch clan, are not what you would call punctual or timely....

i made the kids valentines while they ate breakfast....

ira and liv made me a valentine after they opened mine....

very pretty....

we ate lots of chocolate....

there was dress up...

and daddy brought home a new remote control helicopter...

ira was in a very silly mood, when she went grocery shopping with her daddy- she wore his snowboarding helmet! through the whole store....

Roadtrip:: Piper Joins the Family

On the way home, we stopped by the foster family's home and picked up

PIPER!!!!

This is Osiris' littermate, he was adopted out before we got osiris, and then returned to the kill-shelter the day osiris passed away. I took that as a sign.

We had him vaccinated and our awesome friend Kim found him a foster home to stay in until he was fully protected agains parvovirus.

he is HUGE!!!!! so healthy and sturdy.  sweet, calm and loving.

we LOVE him.

the kids were over the moon with him. he stayed in the back with them the whole trip.

here ira is showing off her movie...

lots of pit stops with these two on the way home. Isis was pretty against the addition.... i think she was a little scared of the new doggie.

and probably a LOT jealous since the two littlest children were more than slightly smitten...
