Farewell dianna!

We showed her our library an chipotle last night..... Then today was mandatory fun day.... Except I was cranky and we woke up late.

Redwoods in Santa Cruz.....

Huuuuuuge mushrooms.....

Cool fallen log...

There were lots of joggers & Ira wanted to join them. She is a fast runner.

Too pooped to participate! ( it was only a mile hike!)

Banana slug (we saw two!)

"What is that?!" said dianna.

No way!

A moss patch the shape of a heart! Way to bring the valentine love redwood!

Emers dragging them around.

Ring around the Rosie.

He kept pointing up at the trees- put I could only snap in-between pics....

A really cool and informative visitor center...

Train station! We missed the train!

ZOO!

We got there 45 min til closing!
We quickly saw
Lions
The grey seal
Monkeys
Giraffes
Rhinos
Penguins...

Then it was over! Zoo closed. :(

We ate at Beautifull! Such good, fresh, natural food! Tons of fresh perfectly cooked veggies! best red curry I've had in a long time!

Voted best in the bay!
Then sunset from telegraph hill. Amazing amazing amazingviews of the city, the golden gate.

Just striking sunset too! The weather today was sunny and 70! Could ask for better tourist weather!

Muir Woods

We went on a two mile walk in the muir woods...
The scenery was pretty, but it mostly made me want To go further up north to eureka. the trees weren't as old, and it was VERY crowded and tourist oriented.

Slug on a fallen redwood...
