ferry station

we had zero plans today.... which is rare...

so we had breakfast & coffee.... jared ran errands and did homework and the kids played while i knitted holiday presents....

Then we finished some crafting and hung them on the wall



Ira drew picture lots of astronaut themed pictures...

after lunch, we went into the city.

it was cold, per usual.... but not too windy, at first.

we went to the ferry terminal so jared could get his boccalone fix and then we found the Mariposa gluten-free shop. WOW! their stuff is amazing! ira was in heavenasshe gobbled down a cinnamon roll.

i forgot my camera... but jared had the goPro...

big big plans for tomorrow....

Mess day....

It wasn't a bad messy day... It was actually quite calm.

There was even yoga-





But every time I turned around, there was some kind of huge trail of destruction....

If I asked "what happened???" this little girl would say,"I don't know!" and them make this face...


She is into the dramatics... She even practices her faces...

There was a kitty theatre-

This was the aftermath of them playing- this playroom was SPOTLESS 20 minutes before. I do not mind- I'm just in awe. They are FAST.


We made lunch- the girls played with ice cubes....





Hung the rest of the butterflies...


We started a couple projects.... All involving handprints...


The only one we finished today was ira's bat- a very viscous pink bat.


Liv found the wizard costume in the dress up bin- she is in love.


Ira and I practiced OUR faces too...





We ran to home depot...



And target-

It's cold AGAIN!

68degrees!
Ira checked the faerie house- no new tenants... She decided it needed to be fancier.... And that it needed chocolate...

Liv was a dancing machine today...


She calls this her ballet dancer move...

We have been waiting a long time....

For it to feel like summer! It's sooooo amazing here right now!!!!

We made iced tea....


We danced around to some music....


Set out pennies, honey, juice and a grape to lure some faeries to move in....

We made a new friend... and had races...


and chased grey squirrels...

dug in and inspected some dirt...
found butterflies in the rosemary...

found a caterpillar falling off it's leaf and helped it back up...

played in the sand....
picked flowers (with permission)
and created ways to make younger siblings work for their grapes...

look how careful and graceful my little liv is... she is up on one foot! and dont worry- i was near enough to grab her....

we built faerieland-

Then Ira added unicorn land.....


Now we are trying to figure out how to turn these two humungous heirloom tomatoes into dinner!

After dinner we walked to the park- Jared and Ira ran....
