What a day...

We cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, Ira decided she wanted to organize the crew and scrub the walls and cupboards and floors to (quote) "give you some time off Jen"

They did an amazing job! Really, the kitchen sparkled...

We went for a nature walk (and forgot the camera)...

Ira was inspired to make a faerie wand (not very good picture) and to start faerie journal...

Later, Ira created a "tracking device".... With all sorts of fancy things to lure the faeries. Crystals, ruby magic wand, etc.

While doing laundry, I hit my head REALLY hard on a dryer door. I actually almost lost consciousness. It was pretty scary to be alone with three little kids, next to a lagoon, feeling like i was going to pass out.

Thankfully I was able to get them all back to the apartment safely and laid down. They watched some Netflix and fell asleep.

I had Jared come home from work when I started feeling dizzy and nauseous.

It happened around 1230- by 2 I had Jared come home because I felt worse. :(

Luckily, after some rest, I started to feel a little better.

Then we had some face time with uncle shad! Emers LOVES face time.

Ira read liv "green eggs and ham". It was so sweet!

Another (short) walk.... Liv is THE ballerina....

Emers is always on the move...

Ira is quite attached to her books these days...

And her siblings...

Monday Funday....

We arrived 45 minutes early to our Chiro appointment- by complete accident and lack of preparation on my part....

So we had time for a lovely nature walk in Los Gatos....

It was sunny and amazing outside...

Rose smelling...

Sidewalk chalk...

Liv said "look at this birdie starin at me"

I was alerted to the possible presence of some water faeries by the ever observant ira....

They collected fallen rose petals...

We had a torturous trip to whole foods where my children completely forgot how to be in public- which, for our family, is already light years away from how one might normally conduct themselves.

There were all sorts of crazy shenanigans including (but not limited to)

1. Ira and liv Running away from me in different directions (with Emers in the cart) so I had to "friendly shout" and then run around like a mad woman.

2. Pulling down an entire box of Larabars- scattering them throughout the isle as cranky businessmen stomped past on their phones.

3. Jumping into every single said cranky businesspersons path and screaming "ahhhhhhh"

4. Screaming "I have to POOP now!!!!! POOP!!!!!! Poop! Poop! Poop!" while I'm at the meat counter....

5. Liv grabbing the side of the cart and trying to climb in- failing... But nearly tipping the Cart over- with Emers in it- as I knock Ira over jumping to save it- which, thank goodness I succeeded at.

Needless to say- I'm sure there were many peninsula people who went on to talk/text/twitter about the crazy madwoman with a red frizzy afro in purple tights chasing her unruly kids round whole foods...

We came home and they continued in their amped up play... Except at home it is less stressful.

Emers the cowboy...

Ira the cowgirl...

Ira the faerie monster...

L-A L-A baby.....

Ira's love of 'Sony with a chance' and 'the Jonas brothers' is a very serious thing... When I told her we could go to Hollywood on the way home, she about screamed!

So we downloaded "LA LA baby" from iTunes and blared it on the drive in... Did some sight seeing on the walk of fame outside the kodiak... Saw buzz and woody....

It was opening weekend for Pirates- so there was all kinds of fun pirate things...

We had lunch, then on the way back to the car- Ira attempted to beat the fountain sprays!

And succeeded!!! She made it to the other side dry!!!!

But got caught and soaked on her way back!!

Then she ran around TRYING to get as wet as possible...

I took liv and Emers in- Emers and I stayed dry-

Not liv-

Ira, though, was drenched. Good thing we were close to a car full of clothes :)

Then we took the ferry to downtown...

U.S.S. Midway
