Saturday Play Day

Because ira was not keeping the candy from trick or treating- we had made a grab bag for her instead (thanks b ;) )..... it went over fabulously! Ira gave all the candy on the "no way no day list" to our fabulous neighbour friends.... She woke up ready to play. Buut refused to sit still long enough for us to get a picture of her in the silks that wasnt a blur- so i am including pics of us adults! The little sponges were those capsuls that you put in warm water.

She was narrating the "births", and kept sayibg, "you're doing so well little baby, come on baby monster!"

I think she was thinking along the lines of livs water birth :)

we also got her a floor coloring sheet of the US because a child was going door to door so he could go on some trip and we have a hard time saying no- ever.

These playsilks were made by the most amazing dye queen to walk this fine earth. You should go immediately to her shop- Cosmic Ripple and drool ;)

Childrens Museum

Tuesday, we had to go downtown to VOTE EARLY and so we decided to also go to the children's museum. As we drove through downtown, ira kept saying, "I sure do love being in the big city". "I wish we came to the big city more, I dont want to go home to the country"

Which is really quite laughable if you know tucson. Its not a very big city and we do not at all live in "the country".

But, it was a fun conversation.

At the children's museum- we met a lot of really fun people and played for over 3 hours. They had added some features... like a glow in the dark room. YOu "wrote" on the walls with a light pen. Most of our time was spent in the police/firefighter section..... as the following pictures show.

we went for lunch with daddy and got a jamba juice.... then went resale shopping at lil traders, bookman's and then stopped in the unicef store....
