Last Days in Vegas!

Jared got us tickets to see the whole reason we were blessed to come to Vegas:

GoPro at Interbike Convention!!!

First: I have to say, I do not get paid by RAW Revolution, but their product IS one I love and my kids all enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised to meet their rep at the conference! He was SO nice, So friendly and kind to the kids, that I swear it made the bars taste better.

At the GoPro booth, the girls had a blast. They watched 3D GoPro videos, base jumping videos AND got to meet Jesse- an amazing inspirational-to-Keira, much respected base jumper (squirrel suit skydivers).

Keira was SO excited. She told him ALL about HER squirrel suit (towel) that she made, and how she watches all his videos.

He was very sweet and gracious. The kids had a blast.

Here they are posing...

Jared testing out a bike we are lusting after....

Later, we went home... Had dinner, and Keira entertained us with her dramatic story telling...

Then family puzzle time...

Vegas Day 3: Friends!

We woke up to another storm.

The kids played inside, we took a quick walk... And then DIANNA came and took us to whole foods!

We just hung out for the a few hours. I kept thinking how amazing it would be to just be able to see dianna everyday like that.

My friend Laura drove 4 hours trough the hot desert to see us! Her and her boys were a much needed addition to this trip. It has been almost two YEARS since I saw Laura and her family.

They came to Tucson and caught chicken pox from my girls back in OCT 2009!

My, how the kids have grown!

Ira and Nicholas got married and were on their honeymoon. :)

Vegas Day 2.

Yesterday we arrived late afternoon. After getting the RV set up and recovering from the long morning on the road.... We didn't really feel up to much.

The two Littles were asleep by 8. Ira and I stated up watching a show until 9. We were both asleep by the time Jared got home at 11.

The second day, despite being gone until 11, Jared was up and gone by 7:30.

Unfortunately for HIM, he missed the thunderstorm. It was amazing to wake up to a real warm thunderstorm.

The kids were string out the window and I said "let's go play in it!" they demanded jackets, since they are use to COLD rain....

They were so thrilled to feel warm rain!!!! No boots!

We even got a faint rainbow...

True to desert form, it was hot again by noon.

We went for a walk and te kids demanded we stop about every 15 SECONDs to cool off.

Pool...

With waterfalls...

Chilling off in the Gazebo.
Ira said "why does Vegas have to be in the desert?????? Why? I love Vegas! I don't love the desert!". She takes after daddy. Doesn't like the heat much.

Lucky for her, another storm blew in....literally bringing the cool wind.

My kids have a knack for finding eery available pinecone and shiny stone in any open space. They immediately gather them and create cities or the faeries...

Hula hooping with my girl with a desert storm brewing?! Bliss.

Around....

We have been around. Busy.

I think life in the bay area is hard. I know sooooo many people that thrive here, so I think it's probably great and fine for some... But I am not suited for the cold and the damp, I find myself singing Frank Sinatra all the time. :)

Luckily, I have three of the best kids in the world.

Emers is still being the best papa to his babies....

Here he is nursing the baby. When I walked up to take the picture he said "shhhhhhhhhh"

Ira- super hero/ crafting extraordinaire!

Emers is obsessed with every car/truck/tractor that exists...

Liv is too fast to catch on film.
At this moment she is jumping on the bed...
