The were fascinated by the leaf and stick bugs.... Ira took about 3000 pictures....

Liv and Emers carried their stools from exhibit to exhibit...
Ira drew a picture and sent it to the president...
They played outside with these two awesome teen/preteen boys. These kids were so kind and nice- rare these days!
Wetlands... When we walked up ira said "why wouldnt they have a gate or something here?"

Petting Zoo... They got to brush the goats!!!

Athena the Owl...
We also saw a Peregrine falcon which can dive (stoop) at 242 mph!
Docent stand... Getting to touch different feathers.
Owl feathers have fur to make them silent. Because they are hunters.
Vultures feathers are harsh and loud. Because they are scavengers.
Pretending to be Prarie dogs...
