Saturday!

We stopped into new leaf and talked to Well Kiddos for a bit. They are a local organization rallying to get better food (and less sugar) into kids. But in a fun, non-coercive way. Thus is somewhat of a passion for me, so I wanted to mention it.

They gave all of us bracelets.

Then we went to the park and then shopping for some warm weather clothes in anticipation of our Tucson and Colorado/utah/Missouri roadtrips!!!!

I cannot wait to get out of the overcast & damp weather!

Emers had just woken up from a nap and was NOT into being at the park.

Petco to see some animals...

Pirates Ahoy!

Emers the "train track destroyer"

Liv all smiles...

This is how snow deprived California children pretend to go sledding.

Then they built the most colorfully delightful pirate ship I have ever seen. Complete with a sunflower helm.

Requesting permission to come aboard.

They played hard all day.... This was the scene at 4:30 pm....

The day started out with a downpour...

Liv climb up high to escape Emers...

Then the sun came out!!!!

We went for a walk to the park....

We found this guy...

Look how far they are! Emers became upset about the muddiness. Liv was trying to pick him up.

We lucked out and there was buckets and toys....

Story Book Night....

The kids played with their train set for hours...

Then we read about 10 library books....

These two were our favorites of the night.
