Tucson....

It was an amazing visit!
We saw amazing friends/old neighbours and ate amazing new Mexican food in Albuquerque,NM.... Then we drove through really gorgeous monsoons and scored a room at a really great hotel with amazing views.

We had dinner with friends at a new local place, WILKO. Delicious. We got froyo two nights in a row with two separate, but equally magical, families.

Side note! Liv can count to 12, and is trying to spell her name and other words! It's so crazy fast! I guess that's what having a bug sis does!

Mount Rushmore

We have been exploring a lot lately which has led to lots of mapping and talk of directions and such. Ira is also quite fond of Brendan Fraser movies like the mummy, journey to the center of the earth, etc....

She really loved this huge compass.





We drove down to mt rushmore...


And the still in progress crazy horse memorial...... Which is going to be So incredibly huge and awesome! Ira is really into knowing everything there is to know about native American history. The insight she brings is beautiful. If only adults could look at politics through a childs eyes! She was really impressed by this site. A storm rolled in with damaging winds so we had to get back to the hotel, missing the museum.


Jared got caught outside in a hail storm.... I didn't get a picture- but Ira drew one :)


Then we went to dinner. For anyone in the habit of going out to eat- outback has an awesome kids menu. It had mazes and connect the dots and sudoku.


Ira LOVED the sudoku! She did a great job!


Outback also had a ton of sidewalk chalk and a LOT of sidewalk-

Our night in billings Montana was stressful- so we will focus on the bunnies! These bunnies live at the hotel- free roaming! There were sooooo many!
