We went on a tire walk and found juniper berries....

Friday

We watched a few documentaries- about new Zealand and Australia... And a long one about neanderthals.

Then we caught a fly to inspect





Ira practiced her unicorn letter writing ( the unicorn club is her secret club with a secret language/ I'd tell more, but as a member I'm sworn to secrecy)

Moving

We are prepping for our closing date and are currently buried under a laundry list of tasks to be completed in the next two weeks....

In the meantime the children have been enjoying things they haven't seen in a while, toys forgotten and such.

There have been lots of documentaries, lots of drawing and lots of random outdoor adventures... Also lots of froyo.....

Rainy days

We woke up to MORE RAIN!

We made some coffee and toast, watched THREE episodes of LIFE (dvr'd so we got to fast forward through commercials).

This series is amazing! Captivated even liv! Our favourite stories were the tree frog carrying it's tadpoles to safety and the giant octopus laying 100,000 eggs!


While liv was napping I was presented with this-




An invitation special delivery



It was to inform me that the unicorn club meeting was about to start. It also says "lunch provided. Sign in before entering. Wipe shoes before entering too"

When I got to the club, my lunch was given to me. Ira said "its arugula and celery. I left the white part on the celery, hope that's ok".


Then I had to sign in






I'm sitting here all alone though. The other unicorn members are still outside.... They are LATE!
