On this day 6 years ago....
i met the most amazing man ever.... andI told him we "were getting married... and going to have lots of kids... at least 3.... " he kind of laughed.... later- when he asked if he "could keep me"....i said "sure" and it was set in stone....i was in a tiara and feather boa and he was a sailor.... 8 months later we were married in vegas by elvis.... people thought we were insane and never going to make it... we almost didn't.... almost.
how 6 years changes everything...

[sigh]
he is still the most amazing man I know.... and I think I am more in love today than I was that night!
HAPPY "day we met" ANNIVERSARY (a.k.a. best night of my life)

nap time bonding...
we had some quiet time alone, and the first thing she requested was "the best yummy hot cocoa in the world"!
ira loves my hot cocoa... loves it... if we go to coffee shops she will request a hot cocoa and often tell the barista, " my mama makes the yummiest hot cocoa!"
i'm not entirely sure how she loves traditional hot cocoa AND mine.....but she does!
here, she was telling me that i "should make a LOT a LOT of hot cocoa for all poor people who have never had SUCH good hot cocoa!!!!"

so.... i will share the recipe.... but beware... its NOT your mamas hot cocoa....i am not entirely sure I even like it ;)
hemp milk
cocoa powder
honey
coconut oil
vanilla extract
add hemp milk to a small pot, warm to almost boil. Whisk in cocoa powder- amount varies to taste-then about a tablespoon or less of coconut oil. vanilla extract to taste with a pinch of salt. Honey to taste.
i have served this to other kids... at last years solstice craft gathering.... and no one complained a bit....

November 3: PLAY
she came from thecraft room with a large selection.... pipe cleaners, coffee filters, bowls of acorns, colored pencils, watercolors....
not much was "made".... but she used every single thing in her imagination driven two hour session..... she made liv and I crowns....
she was going to make all her friends hats... I think... and then decided that the acorns made better people, and hte filters made betters houses than hats....there were kingdoms and a royal court.... fun.
i love listening to her world...
