Field Trip!

We met up with the unschooling group for a private tour of the Oakland SPCA!

We learned about what animals they serve, how the started, when they started (127(maybe 137)years ago?).... Why they do what they do, and how incredibly efficient they are!






Our educator was GREAT....
Here we are learning about microchips.


Ira asked "how long do their 9 lives REALLY last?"



At the end of the tour we got to meet an 11 month old American bulldog.... And had it not been projected to be huge... It woulda come straight back to the rv with me!

There was a request to watch Rango for, like, the 20th time.... When I slightly protested... I found this...


After we watched Rango, we went to see the horses...











In the evening we went on a boring drive to whole foods.... Where the kids affections were bought with watermelon and gluten free chicken nuggets.

Ira wanted to cry in every room, but couldnt. So she splashed water on her face and pretended.



Then we said goodbye to "our" duck family.... That WAS actually very sad....
