Monday

This morning started off calm....

There was rearrangement of faerie and gnome paraphernalia...



Liv made jack and the beanstalk out of clay....



Ira made me a baby ostrich in all my favorite colors....



Liv was working hard at kneading the clay-



Ira made a sparkly turtle and some jewels...







And a Lego container to lock up an evil spider in. When she told me this I made a face- and she said "don't worry- it's a plastic Lego Spider"




Then we got a call saying "pack up, we are going to Vegas......"


On the road again!

Sunday

They woke up and went right outside to play with matchbox cars on the sand table top.








Liv was cleaning- but look how long her hair is getting all of a sudden!







We decided to go for a drive to Sacramento- and didn't make it. Through a series of unfortunate events and too many passengers freaking out, we stopped to run around at this bridge!





























There was a bit of trash so we did some impromptu clean up!







































We turned around and headed to fairyland! Because no one- no one decent anyhow- can be in a bad mood at fairyland!




















We went through my very favorite faerie tunnel TWICE ;)





































































Then we went home and turned the patio into a bubble party.

Spring!

We added some new things to spruce up the patio now that we are getting some nicer weather!

a sand table....







We had bought things to go to a gardening/faerie space building meet up- but late bedtimes left us with cranky kids...

So we did it this evening here at home. We planted some seeds and Ira added the gnomes and mushrooms she painted.



Emers being helpful... :)



*I* got wind chimes. Really great sounding chimes.....



And a new game on clearance for $1.98! Not super fun..... For adults.



But the kids loved it!

Coolest. Park. Ever.

Moss Beach Park.

Community funded, community designed and community built park! Made of wood and old tires, and surf boards!

Castles, community shared toys, sand pits and a maze of crawl spaces and secret passageways!
