Well, at any rate..... I am still in love. I just snapped some of the most adorable pictures... so stay tuned.

momma let's bake!

Ira woke up, rolled over and said, "i want to make blueberry muffins".

"i dreamt about it" she added, "you mix flour, sugar and salt".

now, i can cook from scratch, and have baked cookies from scratch.... but never have i made muffins, pancakes and such from scratch.

i just recently made my first scratch cake and it was vegan.

but she was so exited, i got up, looked up the recipe and an hour later we had yummy, whole wheat, organic blueberry muffins.

who knew it was so easy.

plus- my daughter thinks i am amazing..... turning flour, sugar and salt into MUFFINS?!?!

we watched some really awesome perfomances and met some really great local artist/vendors.

as if i needed something to strengthen my love affair with this desert and the southwest..... but as it was- i felt my heart grow just that much more attached to this land.

on monday or tuesday liv started rolling front to back AND back to front consistently enough for her to beging ROLLING to get things!

today [drum roll please].............

she reached for me!

and at that moment, another part of my soul left my body to forever reside in hers.

i am bound to these two beings in ways i could never describe or define.

they are me, and i am them.... and all these hours spent holding, rocking, singing, nursing and playing really are doing the job of joining our hearts together.
